Frequently asked questions.

Are you a charity or a nonprofit organization?

Currently, no. It can take a lot of time (and money) to get a charity or nonprofit up and running, but we wanted to start helping students as soon as possible.

While we hope to get to that stage in the future, we currently are just two people who are investing some of our own time and resources into raising awareness of this issue and hoping to reach others who also want to help however they can.

If you’re not a charity, how do donations work?

We’ve been blessed to partner with Stone Church, who is has offered to facilitate our giving. They have created a custom link to their online giving portal, which collects all the donations, and will release the funds to Master’s College and Seminary. Since they are a registered charity, all donations can be issued a tax receipt.

What happens with donations you collect?

All donations will go to a scholarship fund at Master’s College and Seminary, which will be held until it’s released once each year (this year will be in October for the fall semester) to at least one student pursuing full-time studies at Master’s.

Where is this scholarship available?

The scholarship is currently only for prospective students of Master’s College and Seminary. We hope that with the help of the community, the scholarship fund will grow to the point where we can expand to support prospective students of other schools in the future.

How can I apply for the scholarship?

If you are a person of colour who is pursuing your calling in full-time ministry and planning to study at Master’s, you can find information on scholarships (as well as application forms available for download) here.
